Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a Veterinary Neurologist to join its specialty referral team. The practice is a multi-specialty emergency and referral hospital providing advanced veterinary care to pets and is hiring an experienced neurologist to support the continued expansion of its specialty services.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position within a hospital that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Specific doctor hours are to be discussed with the practice. The role is based within a specialty and emergency setting designed to support continuous patient care.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinary Neurologist will provide advanced neurologic diagnosis and treatment within a collaborative, multi-specialty hospital environment. Clinical responsibilities include managing complex neurology cases, working closely with emergency clinicians and other specialists, and contributing to a team-based care model focused on high-quality patient outcomes. The role also involves supporting the education of interns, residents, and veterinary staff and contributing to a culture of compassionate, high-level specialty care. This position is suited to an experienced, board-certified or residency-trained veterinary neurologist.

Practice Details
The hospital is a busy, well-established multi-specialty referral and emergency center serving Cape Cod and southeastern Massachusetts, with locations in Buzzards Bay and Dennis. The practice supports a wide range of specialty services and is expanding to include neurology as part of its continued growth. Services offered include 24/7 emergency care, surgery, internal medicine, cardiology, dermatology, ophthalmology, diagnostic imaging, zoo and exotics medicine, blood bank services, and end-of-life care. The culture emphasizes collaboration, professional development, and excellent patient outcomes.

Team
The team consists of thirty-eight DVMs supported by a large and skilled support staff. The environment is highly collaborative, with specialists across multiple disciplines working together in a supportive referral hospital setting.

Candidate Requirements

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
