Front Load / Roll Off (Swing) Driver

$26.00 - $30.00 per hour

Trash Taxi of Georgia is looking for safety conscious, courteous and experienced Front-End Loader and Roll-Off professional drivers to join our family waste hauling business located in Acworth, GA.

This is a physical job that requires drivers to routinely climb in and out of the truck cab to service customer accounts. Drivers must be able to read and understand a map, complete daily paperwork as well as pre and post trip inspections. Routes require drivers to navigate through congested communities and confined or tight areas in city and suburban locations. Backing skills are essential as a large percentage of the time spent servicing customers is done in reverse. This position will require you to work in all weather extremes including extreme hot or cold, wet or dry conditions.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• At least 25 years of age or older
• Valid Class A or B CDL with airbrakes endorsement
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Must be able to speak and read English well enough to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic and signals, respond to official questions, and be able to make legible entries on reports and records.
• At least 3 years of previous experience operating a vehicle requiring a CDL within the past 7 years
• Clean driving record
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) drug screen, background and motor vehicle records check and Department of Transportation Physical.
