Physician - Anesthesiology
Job Details:
- Full-time general anesthesia physician position
- 35-45 cases daily with high-level acuity including cardiovascular, transplant, endoscopy, electrophysiology, catheterization, orthopedic, and neurology cases
- Shift hours are 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM with evening cardiovascular beeper call and 24-hour weekend beeper call as backup to in-house providers
- Weekend and occasional weeknight general beeper call coverage required
- Must be willing to work own cases independently as well as supervise CRNAs depending on daily census
- Care team model in place with PHY/CRNA medical supervision
- Support staff includes anesthesia technicians, nursing, and operating room assistants
- Possible case types include general anesthesia, monitored care, neuraxial, and peripheral nerve blocks
- EMR systems used: Medaxion, Meditech, and Patient Keeper
- Florida state medical license required
- Board certified or board eligible required
- DEA/CSR requirements apply
