Registered Nurse (RN) – LTAC

Hartford, CT $55 per hour 13-Week Contract 3x12 Night Shifts

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) facility in Hartford, CT. This 13-week contract offers consistent night shifts and competitive pay at $55 per hour. The RN will provide high-quality care to medically complex patients requiring extended acute care services.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to LTAC patients with complex medical conditions
• Perform comprehensive assessments and ongoing monitoring
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered
• Manage ventilators, trachs, wound care, and other advanced care needs (as applicable)
• Monitor and document changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary team members
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Connecticut
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
• Minimum 1–2 years of LTAC, ICU, Step-Down, or Med-Surg experience
• Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
