We are seeking a Full Time RN to join our team! Rocking Horse Community Health Center (RHCHC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that provides healthcare services to some of the area's most vulnerable populations.

We are seeking a Full Time RN for our London, Ohio location. This individual will assist several providers with exams, blood draws, injections, assisting in referrals to specialists, patient education and medication refills. Fast-paced but manageable work environment with knowledgeable support staff who assist with processes and procedures.

RHCHC has an office near Madison Health Hospital. London OH is home to a diverse set of industries from manufacturing and distribution, R&D, and healthcare, and is in a favorable location, 20 miles from Columbus and Springfield connecting to Interstate 70 which offers easy access for commuting.

Position Info:

Position Title: Registered Nurse (RN)

Primary Service Center: London, Ohio

FLSA Status: Hourly Non-Exempt position

Work Hours: Full-time position

Education Requirements:

Minimum - associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from a Two (2) year college or Technical School.

Must be licensed in the State of Ohio.

CPR certification is required but can be obtained by RHCHC.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience: Associates Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school. 2. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must have Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Ohio. CPR certification required. Applicable life support training (PALS/ACLS) preferred. Current driver's license and an acceptable driving record required. Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public. 4. Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. 5. Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. 6. Computer skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software. 7. Patient Health Information (PHI) is confidential, only the minimal amount of PHI necessary to accomplish the internal purpose is to be shared or released by staff. 9. The position involves regular interaction with patients and other members of the general public. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Regular exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues, may occur. Schedule is dependent upon organization and patient needs, and includes evenings and weekends. May be sent home if demand is low, or be requested to work overtime when demand is high.
