Description - What You Will Achieve

• Assist in the collection of specimens and prepare samples for testing as required.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, contribute to training new staff or students, and ensure that the lab upholds its quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment while adhering to regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a similar allied health degree, accompanied by ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within a year of being hired.
• Maintain current certification throughout your employment.
