Technical Product Manager - Analytics Enablement

Team Overview The OneTru Analytics Platform team is responsible for delivering a secure, scalable, and user‑centric analytics ecosystem that enables data scientists, analysts, model developers, and governance teams to efficiently access trusted data, compute resources, models, and workflows. The team plays a critical role in advancing TransUnion's OneTru platform strategy by driving analytics productivity, platform adoption, and continuous innovation through close partnership with engineering, UX, governance, and product teams. This role reports to Senior Advisor of Product Management. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in‑person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week. Role Overview and Core Responsibilities Serve as the voice of analytics users by continuously engaging with data scientists, analysts, model developers, and governance teams to understand evolving needs and workflow challenges. Drive end‑to‑end discovery and optimization of analytics workflows, identifying friction points and partnering with engineering teams to improve usability, efficiency, and reliability. Translate customer feedback, workflow insights, and business objectives into well‑defined product requirements, user stories, and prioritized backlog items. Partner with UX researchers, platform engineers, architects, and product managers to design intuitive and scalable analytics experiences. Validate new platform capabilities through user interviews, prototype reviews, MVP testing, Customer Zero initiatives, and pilot programs prior to broad release. Manage and influence roadmap priorities based on customer feedback, platform strategy, adoption data, and business value. Establish feedback mechanisms including user councils, office hours, surveys, and usage analytics to ensure continuous improvement and platform evolution. Monitor and analyze adoption metrics such as active users, feature adoption, workflow completion rates, time‑to‑insight, and customer satisfaction to identify opportunities for improvement. Champion secure and governed access to data, models, analytics tools, and compute resources while maintaining compliance and privacy standards. Foster strong collaboration across Product, Engineering, UX, Architecture, Governance, and Business stakeholders to deliver meaningful customer outcomes. Required Knowledge and Experiences 5+ years of Product Management, Technical Product Management, or Product Owner experience supporting analytics, data, AI, or platform products. Strong understanding of analytics workflows including data exploration, model development, experimentation, reporting, deployment, and lifecycle management. Experience partnering closely with data scientists, analysts, engineers, architects, and platform teams to deliver customer-focused solutions. Proven ability to conduct customer discovery, user interviews, workflow analysis, usability validation, and requirements gathering to drive product decisions. Experience working in Agile environments with responsibility for backlog prioritization, roadmap planning, and stakeholder management. Strong understanding of user‑centered product development methodologies and translating customer needs into measurable business outcomes. Required Technical Skills Experience working with analytics, data, AI, or machine learning platforms and supporting technical user communities. Knowledge of cloud‑based analytics ecosystems and data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Vertex AI, SageMaker, or Azure Machine Learning. Experience with product analytics, telemetry, user behavior measurement, and adoption metrics reporting. Familiarity with data governance, access management, privacy controls, and secure data access frameworks. Ability to create and manage product backlogs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and roadmap artifacts using Agile product management tools. Preferred Technical Skills Experience supporting analytics platforms, AI platforms, internal developer platforms, or self‑service data products. Familiarity with Jobs‑to‑be‑Done (JTBD), Design Thinking, Lean Product Management, or Outcome‑Driven Innovation methodologies. Experience leading Customer Zero programs, pilot initiatives, or user validation activities. Understanding of platform adoption strategies, customer success metrics, and user engagement measurement. Experience collaborating with UX research teams to improve customer journeys and user experience outcomes. Pay Scale Information The U.S. base salary range for this position is $112,500.00 - $187,500 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual’s education, training, work experience, job‑related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations.
