Bus Monitor (10-Month Position)Gananda Central School District is seeking a dependable and caring Bus Monitor to join our Transportation Department. This is a 10-month position that follows the student school calendar.Bus Monitors are assigned to school buses where student supervision and support are required to help ensure a safe and positive transportation environment. This position is guaranteed 4 hours of pay per day.Compensation & BenefitsStarting pay: $17.59 per hour95% district contribution toward the Excellus High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP)District contribution to a Health Savings Account (where applicable)Paid sick leaveMembership in the New York State Retirement SystemQualificationsAbility to supervise and assist students in a safe, courteous, and professional mannerSuccessful completion of required fingerprinting and a physical performance testStrong communication skills and a commitment to student safety
