At  Alpha Transport Inc. , we take pride in being one of the  largest petroleum transporters in the Western U.S. To keep our fleet running  safely and efficiently , we operate a  state-of-the-art, heated 4-bay enclosed shop, a drive-through wash bay, and a fully equipped tire room .

We’re looking for a  skilled and safety-focused   Truck & Trailer Mechanic to  maintain, diagnose, and repair our fleet of fuel-hauling trucks and trailers. If you’re  passionate about diesel mechanics , work well in a  fast-paced environment , and want to be part of a  team that values quality and safety , we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do:

• Diagnose & Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on fuel-hauling trucks and trailers.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance to keep equipment in peak condition.
• Conduct Major & Minor Repairs , including brake systems, suspension, tires, air, and electrical systems.
• Handle Minor Diesel Engine Repairs and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain an Organized Work Area to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the Team to ensure timely repairs and minimize downtime.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in Truck & Trailer Maintenance (fuel tanker experience a plus!).
• Valid Driver’s License (CDL preferred but not required).
• Own Basic Tools to perform job functions.
• Basic Computer Skills to log work and complete reports.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Welding Experience (a plus but not required).
• Safety-Oriented Mindset with attention to detail.

Please Note:  We offer overtime, but do not pay overtime pay.
