Job Description
We are seeking a Bilingual Legal Assistant to become a part of our medium sized law firm in downtown Los Angeles. You will provide overall support to workers' compensation clients.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure clients are treating and receiving benefits
- File various pleadings with the WCAB
- Meet and speak with clients regarding case progression daily
- Review reports and and follow-up on pending issues
Qualifications:
- ****College Graduate a plus
- Preferred familiarity with workers' compensation or ability to learn quickly
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Fluent in English and Spanish
