Material Handler

Material Handler – Pleasant Prairie, WI Start immediately. Permanent full‑time position reporting to the Shift Supervisor. Responsibilities Transport products, packaging, and equipment throughout the facility using material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts. Distribute items within the facility and serve as the SAP subject‑matter expert in the packaging area on the assigned shift. Partner with support functions to identify and resolve unplanned downtime events, quality, safety, cost, and other losses attributable to the area, applying problem‑solving techniques and a continuous‑improvement mindset. Handle incoming and outgoing materials for the assigned areas, ensuring timely and accurate entry into SAP. Operate forklift and/or pallet jack during routine duties, receive, inspect, and stage raw materials, scrap, packaging materials, chemicals, and other supplies into the assigned area, completing SAP entries as necessary. Remove finished products from production areas, ensuring proper identification, banding, and labeling to meet customer specifications, and complete SAP entries accordingly. Stage and load finished goods and materials in accordance with warehouse and production planning schedules. Coordinate the proper disposal of processed scrap materials into bins and hoppers, and manage banding and storage of materials. Load trucks as necessary and perform any other duties assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent (HSED or GED) required. Minimum of one (1) year of work experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting. Computer skills with basic knowledge of Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience with SAP preferred. Valid forklift or pallet jack certification is an advantage.
