Job Description Job Description Real Estate Associate San Diego, CA | Hybrid Full-Time Compensation Range: $260,000 – $310,000 annually A leading global law firm is seeking a Real Estate Associate to join its growing San Diego office. This is an excellent opportunity for a transactional real estate attorney to work on sophisticated commercial real estate matters while receiving significant client exposure, mentorship, and hands-on responsibility within a collaborative practice group. The ideal candidate will have experience representing clients in a broad range of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, joint ventures, and related transactional matters. Key Responsibilities Advise clients on commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions Draft and negotiate transactional documents related to debt and equity financings Support the structuring and negotiation of joint venture agreements and related arrangements Conduct due diligence and assist with transaction management from inception through closing Work directly with clients, counterparties, and internal teams on complex real estate matters Collaborate closely with senior attorneys while taking on substantial responsibility in active transactions Qualifications Minimum of 3–4 years of commercial real estate transactional experience Experience handling acquisitions, dispositions, financings, joint ventures, and related real estate matters Prior experience at a regional or national law firm preferred Strong drafting, organizational, and analytical skills Excellent interpersonal and client communication abilities Demonstrated ability to manage a demanding workload in a fast-paced environment Strong academic credentials and legal writing skills required Active admission to the California Bar required Compensation & Benefits The anticipated salary range for this position is $260,000 to $310,000 annually , depending on experience, qualifications, and location.
