Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, experienced and organized Assistant Director to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our school and providing exceptional support to both staff and parents. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Duties

• Manage front desk operations, greeting visitors and directing them appropriately.
• Provide customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Assist with office management tasks, including maintaining organized filing systems and managing office supplies.
• Perform personal assistant duties as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Word and or Google suite
• Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity before distribution.
• Deliver excellent customer service through effective phone etiquette and professional communication.
• Support bilingual communication efforts, if applicable, to assist a diverse clientele.

Requirements

• Proven experience in an administrative role or similar position.
• Strong front desk experience with a focus on customer support.
• Proficiency in office management practices and tools.
• Excellent proofreading skills with keen attention to detail.
• Exceptional customer service abilities and phone etiquette skills.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply for enhanced communication capabilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Knowledge of Procare childcare software a plus
• Strong computer skills
