Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

 Oversee and manage shipping and receiving operations.

 Ensure accurate and timely freight processing.

 Operate a forklift to move and organize inventory.

 Utilize Excel for basic data entry and reporting.

 Maintain inventory records and ensure proper documentation.

 Lead and motivate a team to achieve operational goals.

 Implement and maintain safety protocols.

 Transport long length steel tube (40’ steel beams) and other heavy steel

material/items

 Follow instructions as given and work with minimal supervision

 Work overtime as required

 Reliable attendance

 Follow all safety guidelines

 Team player

 Load/unload materials from skids

 Perform housekeeping tasks (i.e., removing scrap, pallets, move and empty large trash

cans)

 Complete daily pre-shift inspections

 Self-Motivated

 Perform other duties as assigned

Skills and Abilities

 Reliable attendance

 Work in a production environment

 Previous experience moving heavy steel items

 Proven experience in a managerial role.

 Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.

 Basic proficiency in Excel.

 Forklift operation certification or experience.

 Strong organizational and leadership skills.

 Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

 Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Working Environment and Physical Demands

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to withstand the elements of

nature (i.e., heat in the summer and cold in the winter). Must be able to bend, twist and

stand/sit for full shift. Repetitive hand/arm movements
