Job Description

As a Security Officer Medical Facility Patrol in Wakefield RI you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents and provide outstanding customer service to patients visitors and staff. You will communicate clearly respond to security-related concerns and support a caring environment. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors staff and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents medical emergencies disturbances and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner communicating with appropriate hospital personnel and first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of buildings parking areas entrances and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity assist with directions and escorts when requested and report unusual conditions or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate reports maintain required logs and communicate observations and incidents to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Vaccinations are required for hospital positions.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
