Associate Director of Creative Design

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Director of Creative Design to lead and oversee our dynamic team of UI/UX designers, Communications specialists, and Graphics designers. This pivotal role will involve fostering creativity, enhancing user experiences, and maintaining the visual identity of our organization. The Creative Design Manager will play a key role in shaping the visual direction of our brand and products.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership and Management:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a cross-functional team of UI/UX designers, Communications specialists, and Graphics designers.
• Set clear expectations, provide ongoing feedback, and ensure the team's professional growth.
• Foster a collaborative and creative work environment.

UI/UX Design:

• Oversee the design and optimization of user interfaces to ensure a seamless and user-friendly experience for our digital products and services.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and developers to align design with business goals and technical constraints.

Communications Strategy:

• Develop and implement effective communication strategies to ensure consistent and compelling messaging across various channels.
• Manage the creation of marketing collateral, press releases, and other materials to support our brand and business objectives.

Graphic Design:

• Drive the creation of visually stunning graphics, branding materials, and promotional assets.
• Maintain a cohesive visual identity for our brand across all touchpoints.

Project Management:

• Establish project timelines and deliverables, ensuring that all design projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to meet project goals and objectives.

Design Standards and Quality Assurance:

• Set and uphold design standards, ensuring the highest quality and consistency across all creative work.
• Perform regular design reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Market Research and Trend Analysis:

• Stay informed about design and industry trends, keeping the team up-to-date with the latest advancements in design and user experience.
• Integrate best practices and innovative techniques into the creative process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven experience in leading creative teams and managing cross-functional design projects.
• Proficiency in UI/UX design principles and best practices.
• Strong knowledge of design software and tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma).
• Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Slack).
