ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

§ Maintaining GMP / Housekeeping at a high level within the department through the involvement of all team members.

§ Oversee production facility and team member workflow

§ Ensure quality products and standards are maintained

§ Coordinate production start ups, shutdowns and changeovers

§ Responsible for maintaining safety standards as required by company policy

§ Ensure that maintenance keeps machines going, where they can reach production goals on their shifts.

§ Conduct performance evaluations, and adhere to departmental goals and expectations.

§ Manager responsibility includes management of employee performance, hiring, discipline, and development

§ Monitor and take appropriate timely improvement action to meet production quality and quantity

§ Facilitate team members workflow management, scheduling and team members’ placement to ensure the facility and company goals are successfully met or exceeded

§ Assigns, controls, and monitors required recourses to achieve established schedules

§ Maintain adherence to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices

§ Insure the appropriate level of accountability for facility goals and objectives of the team leaders and team members’ levels

§ Responsible for creating a high morale workplace with professionalism

§ Ensure all paperwork is accurate, legible and completed in a timely manner

 

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

 

Education and/or Experience

· BS Degree preferred

· 5 years of management or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
