Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An experienced pharmacist position is available for an 8-week travel assignment at a 49-bed hospital in Moose, WY, with the possibility of extension. This role supports a small pharmacy team currently impacted by FMLA leave, offering a critical opportunity to maintain seamless pharmacy operations.

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 6:15 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday and Sunday: 7:15 AM – 12:00 PM (on call after hours)
• Current staff work 10-hour shifts with one weekend per month; schedule flexibility available for interim coverage (e.g., 7 days on/7 days off)

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage inpatient pharmacy operations with minimal supervision, ensuring safe and accurate medication dispensing
• Utilize Cerner for prescription order processing and electronic health records
• Operate Pyxis medication dispensing systems efficiently
• Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize patient care and medication management

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Wyoming Pharmacy License required
• Minimum of 2 years inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Proficiency with Cerner and Pyxis systems
• Ability to work independently with minimal training
• Manager reference required demonstrating strong clinical and teamwork skills
