The successful candidate:

The respiratory care practitioner is a professional caregiver who assesses the respiratory needs of patients and works closely with physicians, nurses, and other health care team members to administer all respiratory care procedures that provide the maximum therapeutic and diagnostic benefit to the patient. The respiratory care practitioner also administers non-invasive cardiology procedures dependent to the individual's capabilities and training, i.e. EKG, HOLTER

Requirements:

• Current Georgia license as a Respiratory Therapist (or eligible for immediate Georgia licensure).
• RRT-Registered
• Required - minimum Associate Degree and 1 year experience
• BLS/CPR and ACLS required.

Ability to perform EKG's required; experience with PFT's and/or bedside spirometry preferred.
