Opportunity Highlights

• Schedule: Full-Time or Part-Time (prorated on call); combination of in-house clinical work and home cardiac call; flexible schedules available with a work-life balance focused team; call and holidays are shared among the group
• Job Setting: Single-site at Level 2 Trauma Center
• Types of Cases: Personally performed cardiac anesthesia (no medical direction model); non-cardiac weeks include general anesthesia; diverse case mix including orthopedic (elective and trauma), gynecology, ENT, complex vascular, neurosurgery, interventional cardiology including EP and structural heart, OB, and full scope cardiothoracic cases; peripheral nerve blocks and advanced regional techniques; opportunity to teach residents and students
• Compensation:
  • $325/hour for in-house clinical shifts (1.0 FTE = 2,000 hours annually)
  • Weekday call: $70/hour
  • Friday night call: $80/hour
  • Weekend/holiday call: $80/hour
  • Call-back / additional time: $650 per 2-hour increment
  • Additional shifts: $365/hour
  • Up to $75,000 annually in value-based incentives
  • Starting bonus up to $25,000
  • Relocation assistance up to $15,000

Minimum Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology (must become Board Certified within 2 years) - Required
• Certifications: ACLS and BLS (or willing to obtain) - Required; DEA (or willing to obtain) - Required
• Licensure: Michigan Medical License (or willing to obtain) - Required
