Medtronic seeks a Clinical Specialist to provide technical, educational, and operational support for cardiac rhythm management devices in the Baltimore territory. The role involves field-based customer support, clinical education, and collaboration with sales leadership to meet business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for CRM devices including system checks, implant support, and troubleshooting
- Manage operational logistics including patient documentation, inventory, programmer software, and coverage scheduling
- Educate physicians, hospital staff, and field team on CRM products, therapies, and clinical solutions
- Support sales activities by identifying customer opportunities, monitoring competitive trends, and providing feedback
- Travel extensively within assigned territory to support customer sites and clinical meetings
Requirements
- High school diploma plus 6+ years healthcare/field sales experience, or associate's degree plus 4+ years, or bachelor's degree plus 2+ years
- Valid driver's license, active auto insurance, and company-approved driving record
- Ability to lift 40 lbs frequently and work 8+ hours daily in clinical environments
- Knowledge of CRM devices, therapies, and medical terminology
- Bachelor's degree in nursing, life sciences, or biomedical engineering preferred
- 2+ years catheterization lab or electrophysiology lab experience preferred
