Job OverviewUnder direction of Construction Manager, provide support to soil excavation activities including loading trucks and transport soil for stockpile/disposal, then transport backfill for site restoration and revegetation. May be required to assist in general labor duties. Truck Drivers will be paid federal prevailing wage for work performed.Project Description: Residential remedial excavation and backfill of 40 properties, metals contaminated soils.The base company wage for the CDL Truck Driver position is $35.00 per hour. However, for this project, the CDL Truck Driver position will be paid the Federal prevailing wage for work performed.Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:Use of Dump trucks (12-15 yd) and Water Trucks (2k)Operate trucks in safe manner in residential communitiesWill before labor tasksAbility to work in team environment in safe and productive mannerBe safe and professional while working in residential communitiesBasic Qualifications:Civil Construction and/or environmental work experienceMust live within daily commute of Jackson, CANo FeloniesClean driving record with valid licenseDependable transportation and cell phoneAble to pass drug screen and physicalOSHA HAZWOPER PreferredCDLTank endorsementWork Schedule:5 days/week with 10 hrs/dayPhysical Requirements:Strength: Standing 50% Walking 20% Sitting 30% Lifting 35 lb.
