Tax ManagerPosition Overview The Tax Manager will oversee and manage the tax compliance and reporting process, ensuring adherence to all federal, state, and local tax regulations. This role is critical in planning, implementing, and maintaining effective tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities while maximizing compliance and efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage tax compliance and reporting processes for multiple entitiesPrepare and review federal and state tax returnsDevelop strategies for effective tax planning and complianceMonitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organizationProvide guidance and support to the finance team regarding tax mattersCoordinate with external auditors and tax advisors as necessaryTrain and mentor junior staff in tax compliance and reporting processesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldCPA certification is requiredMinimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on taxationStrong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulationsProficient in tax compliance software and Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent analytical, communication, and leadership skillsExperience in managing a team is a plus
