Position Summary

Budget Car and Truck Rental of Atlanta is seeking a dynamic individual for a Vehicle Remarketing Representative position in the metro Atlanta area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with developing experience in vehicle estimates, claims, damage assessment, body work, or automotive reconditioning who wants to build a career in fleet remarketing and vehicle sales.

In this role, you'll work closely with a dedicated team supporting market representation, dealer relationships, and the remarketing of Budget Rent a Car of Atlanta's fleet. Your automotive knowledge and ability to assess vehicle condition will play an important role in preparing vehicles for sale and helping maximize their value.

Responsibilities

• Assist with fleet disposal by inspecting, documenting, and preparing vehicles for online auctions, transport to auto auctions, or direct sale
• Negotiate to achieve the best sales price
• Merchandise and maintain pre-owned inventory online with current inspections, photos, descriptions, and information
• Create and post vehicle sales to multiple auction and wholesaler websites
• Build and maintain client relationships with dealerships and auto auctions
• Inspect vehicles for damage and ensure inspected vehicles meet program standards as defined by the account or contract
• Maintain current information on manufacturer updates and changes concerning vehicle standards
• Communicate with potential buyers regarding available fleet, with basic knowledge of vehicle features and conditions
• Manage and liquidate vehicles across the U.S.
• Communicate with major auction houses, coordinate transportation, manage reconditioning, and negotiate fees
• Conduct Direct to Dealer Sales
• Perform light to medium physical work in outdoor conditions

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Wholesale auction and vehicle remarketing experience with an understanding of dealership/auction operations and procedures
• Basic knowledge of automotive components
• Excellent written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to overcome objections
• Results-oriented with a high sense of urgency and energy
• Positive and helpful attitude with a commitment to quality and customer service
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities, changing needs, and timelines
• Must be 21 years of age or older with a valid Driver's License and a good driving record
• Mid-level computer skills; strong Excel skills are required
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently to complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with online auctions, local auctions, and dealer direct sales
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent car sales and marketing experience
