Utilization Review / Case Management RN

We are seeking an experienced Utilization Review / Case Management RN for an ASAP start opportunity with a leading healthcare facility.

Position Details

• Shift: 8H Day Shift + Rotating Weekends
• Start Date: ASAP

Requirements

• Active MA RN License
• BLS (AHA) certification
• 3–5 years of recent UR/Case Management experience
• Preferred Certifications: ACM, CCM, or CMAC

Responsibilities

• Perform admission and concurrent reviews using InterQual criteria
• Review and appeal clinical denials related to inpatient care
• Assess appropriateness of admissions, continued stays, and treatments
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve denial management and documentation
• Coordinate with physicians, payers, and physician advisors for case reviews and peer-to-peer discussions
• Maintain accurate data collection and reporting
