Quality Management Specialist

To support quality improvement initiatives within a healthcare organization, the full-time remote Quality Management Specialist will design and implement quality management procedures, lead structured improvement projects, and analyze process performance to meet organizational and regulatory standards. Key responsibilities Lead and support structured quality improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or DMAIC Review current processes and provide recommendations for updates to comply with regulatory and accreditation requirements Manage Quality Improvement Projects (QIPs) and ensure execution of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) in collaboration with leadership Required qualifications Minimum of 5 years' experience in a quality management role Demonstrated experience with structured quality improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC) Working knowledge of managed care and utilization review accreditation standards, including URAC and NCQA Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent certification preferred High School Diploma required; preference for a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
