Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Physical Therapist Opportunity In Canton, TX

Provide outpatient physical therapy services to primarily orthopedic and some neurological patients in Canton, TX. Perform assessments, develop measurable treatment plans, implement interventions, and reassess progress in accordance with applicable practice standards. Maintain documentation, discuss care with physicians as necessary, and identify appropriate equipment and family education needs. Patient ratio typically 1:1 with sessions approximately every 45 minutes.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required. Doctorate preferred.
• Active Texas Physical Therapist license (or compact privilege where applicable) required prior to start.
• Current BLS from the American Heart Association required.
• Experience treating orthopedic patients required. Experience treating neurological patients preferred.
• Ability to perform independent patient evaluations, develop measurable goals, and document per department and regulatory policy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.
• Experience in outpatient clinic settings preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 08:00 - 17:00.
• Work days: Monday - Friday.
• Schedule notes: Clinic may close early on Friday; extra hour may be made up during Monday - Thursday.
• Patient ratio: 1:1, one patient approximately every 45 minutes.
