Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide patient care in acute care settings, including adult ICU, PICU, and NICU level III units. The role offers schedule flexibility and the opportunity to work on a temporary assignment with potential for extended engagement.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Evaluate and monitor patients' respiratory status and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  
  
• 
  Administer various respiratory therapies, including ventilator management and aerosol treatments.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with medical teams to coordinate patient care and ensure compliance with protocols.
  
  
• 
  Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately in electronic medical records.
  
  
• 
  Participate in scheduled orientations and ensure all employment history and clinical experience are thoroughly recorded.
  
  
• 
  Maintain compliance with all required certifications and hospital policies.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications; NRP required upon submission.
  
  
• 
  Possess valid RRT credential; CRT credentials are not accepted.
  
  
• 
  Have a minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience.
  
  
• 
  Document NICU levels worked in and include detailed employment history.
  
  
• 
  Prefer candidates with prior travel therapy experience and teaching hospital background.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate Epic EMR proficiency within the past 2 years.
