Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist to support a pharmacy in Pell City, AL. This ongoing role is ideal for a pharmacist seeking consistent weekday hours and a collaborative work environment.
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 8-hour day shifts
Location:
- Pell City, Alabama
Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently in a retail setting
- Provide excellent customer service, counseling patients on medication usage and safety
- Maintain compliance with federal and state pharmacy regulations
- Assist with inventory management and ensure proper storage of medications
- Collaborate with healthcare providers when necessary to clarify prescriptions or resolve issues
Qualifications:
- Active, clear pharmacist license required
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a pharmacist, preferably in retail
- Prior credentialing through the Board of Pharmacy (BOP) is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of federal pharmacy laws and prescription regulations
