Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician

Position Type: Locum Tenens
Specialty: Physician - Emergency Medicine
Location: Mason City, IA.
Shift: 9-hour and 12-hour shifts

Position Details:

Patient Population: Emergency Department Patients

Setting: Emergency Department

Responsibilities:

  • Emergency Department physician coverage
  • Supervision of Advanced Practice Providers

Required Procedures:

EMR System: EPIC

Support Staff:

  • 1-2 Physicians during day hours
  • 1 Physician during night hours
  • 1-2 Advanced Practice Providers

On-Call/Weekends: No On-Call Requirement

Submission Requirements:

  • Board Certified FP or ABEM Required
  • Active Iowa License or IMLC Required
  • Clean Background Required
  • ACLS & PALS through AHA (waived if ER boarded); ATLS required for trauma privileges Required
