Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (Post-Procedural Unit) – Iowa

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Des Moines, Iowa

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM. No Saturday or Sunday shifts. Holiday coverage assessed individually based on surgical volumes.

Highlights:

• Primarily caring for post-procedural surgical patients with 1-3 night stays
• Exposure to diverse patient populations including cath lab patients and emergency overflow
• Predictable night shift schedule with no weekend coverage
• Holiday requirements determined by surgical case volumes
• 12.5-hour shift structure providing work-life balance
• 24-hour non-compete requirement waived for this position

Requirements:

• Active Iowa RN license or compact state license with ability to obtain Iowa licensure
• Post-surgical or medical-surgical nursing experience preferred
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Ability to work independently during night shift hours
