Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) FT Nights | PAM Health New Albany

Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) is responsible for providing appropriate nursing care, as directed by an RN on the nursing unit. The role includes gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures on patients in an age and population-appropriate manner, consistent with the policies, procedures, and guidelines of PAM Health. The LPN/LVN also performs other related duties as assigned or requested. Responsibilities Provide nursing care directed by a registered nurse. Gather and report nursing data. Carry out medical orders. Perform therapeutic procedures appropriate for age and population. Perform additional duties as assigned or requested. Qualifications Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state where the hospital resides. Current BLS certification required. One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required. Preferred: prior experience in emergency or critical care environments. Preferred: higher comfort level working with ventilators, tracheostomies, PICC lines, etc. Preferred: two or more years of experience in direct patient care. #J-18808-Ljbffr
