About the Job
We're seeking a dynamic Publicity Lead to plan and execute publicity campaigns for entertainment productions. This client-facing role involves strategy development, media relations, and campaign execution for multiple projects concurrently.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Campaign Planning:
- Develop effective publicity strategies for entertainment productions
- Plan and execute campaigns, collaborating with stakeholders
Media Relations:
- Build and maintain relationships with media across various platforms
- Identify and engage with media influencers
- Pitch and secure media coverage for clients
Content Development:
- Write compelling press materials, pitch letters, and promotional copy
- Develop and implement submission plans for publicity campaigns
Analysis & Reporting:
- Track campaign performance and media results
- Present clear, effective reports to clients
Collaboration:
- Work with team members to align strategies with company goals
- Support public relations initiatives as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Communications, or related field
- Minimum 3 years agency experience with direct client interaction
- Strong media relationships in entertainment, trade, and culture
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Knowledge of current trends, lifestyle brands, and industry influencers
- Strong writing and interpersonal skills
- Experience in media relations and press campaign development
- Familiarity with Japanese Anime/Manga
- Proficiency in Office, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet
Preferred Qualifications
- Japanese language skills (speaking and reading)
