And we’re reimagining how space can connect us, ensuring security and prosperity.Join us in shaping a new era in space and find a career that's built for you.This position is for the Fleet Ballistic Missiles (FBM) program, one of Lockheed Martin’s best-in-class Lines of Businesses that prioritizes partnership, integrity, and reliability.This position is for a Project Engineer Staff in the FBM Strategic Planning organization responsible for conducting US and UK fleet analysis to develop production master schedules for missile, reentry, and test missile kit requirements. In this role you will work with LM and Navy stakeholders to integrate program requirements into discrete missile processing contracts as well as manage the feedback from execution back into requirements.As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to lead long-range planning discussions with US and UK Navy customers, LM leadership, and coordinate working-level execution strategies. You will analyze program executability, risk mitigation strategies, and support our partners in assessing alternate baselines for fleet supportability.The successful candidate will be a subject matter expert on FBM integration, have experience building lasting partnerships with our Navy counterparts, and be able to work with both strict requirements and ambiguous direction.Basic Qualifications- Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education- Experience with missile production and sustainment operations- Experience with long-range budget, resource, or procurement planning - Demonstrated experience leading integration projects-Lean Six Sigma/Green Belt certification- Experience with FBM logistics, SWF operations, and program integration- You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.Desired Skills- Familiarity with the Strategic Programs Official Schedule Estimate and fleet scheduling- Risk and opportunity experience with an understanding of continuous improvement concepts- Classification management or derivative classifier experience- Excellent written and verbal communication skillsPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
