Academic Coordinator

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is hiring an Academic Coordinator to support students at the Gillings School of Global Public Health. The Academic Coordinator will guide student educational planning and progress, connect students with resources, remove barriers to success, and collaborate with faculty and enrollment staff to enhance recruitment and admissions. Highlights Serve as the primary contact for assigned Gillings students, supporting their academic and personal success. Develop and deliver student support initiatives, proactively addressing academic or personal barriers. Collaborate with faculty, Enrollment Management, and other Academic Coordinators to maximize student experiences. Participate in recruitment and admissions activities to attract and admit top students. Require a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with 0-2 years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have extensive experience in academic advising, student affairs, counseling, or related student support roles. Knowledge of university policies, student support best practices, and commitment to supporting diverse student populations. Preferred experience includes supporting online/hybrid learners and working in collaborative higher education environments. Full-time permanent position with a hiring range of $50,000 to $67,377 annually.
