Pharmacy TechnicianThe Pharmacy Technician is responsible for the following job duties:Screen prescription orders for accuracy and completenessPrepare prescriptions: retrieve, count, pour, measure, etc.Perform calculationsPerform medication reconciliationUse technology to help maintain accurate patient records, prepare and package medications, and place ordersDemonstrate empathy and active listening during patient encountersMust have outstanding customer service skills and work well under pressureClearly understand HIPPA guidelines and ensure guidelines are followed in all situationsStrong ability to multi taskQualificationsBehaviors:RequiredDetail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done wellDedicated: Devoted to a task or purpose with loyalty or integrityTeam Player: Works well as a member of a groupEducationHigh School or better.
