Job Title: Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Pay: $75K - $85K

Shift : 5:00pm - 2:00am, Monday - Friday with occasional OT when needed

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Supervisor for the 2nd shift at an innovative company that manufactures food solutions for foodservice and retail businesses. This role involves supervising production processes and ensuring high-quality standards are met for some of the world's most iconic restaurants and retailers.

Responsibilities

• Manage performance of direct reports, including setting direction, providing accountability, coaching, feedback, conducting performance reviews, and overseeing development and training.
• Monitor production processes using RedZone and engage with the area team on the floor, escalating any production issues as per the criteria and communicating them promptly.
• Plan, organize, and delegate work assignments to accommodate departmental schedules and optimize manpower and equipment, thereby meeting OEE efficiencies and striving for continual improvement within the department.
• Complete administrative tasks such as interviewing new potential team members, planning and scheduling, safety reporting, and system entries using tools like Kronos.
• Ensure product specifications are met and alert production manager and quality assurance if product quality is in question, resolving quality issues through training personnel and enforcing standards.
• Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects within the supervised area.
• Attend specified meetings and provide detailed shift handover information.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Essential Skills

• 3 years of supervisory experience in production.
• 1+ years of GMP experience.
• Production supervision.
• GMP, HACCP, and lean manufacturing.
• Supervisory skills and continuous improvement.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing facilities and knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, and sanitation practices.
• Strong leadership capability and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and upwards.
• Strong analytical ability, observation, and coaching skills.
• Ability to motivate, lead, and engage employees.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong work ethic.

Work Environment

This position operates during 2nd shift hours: 5:00 PM - 2:00 AM, Monday to Friday, with occasional additional hours as needed. The work environment requires adherence to GMP regulations, including wearing a hair net, beard net, hard hat, smocks, steel-toed shoes, and safety glasses. The environment can range from hot to cool, with wet floors during sanitation in the mixing room. Be prepared to work in confined and dark spaces and at heights exceeding 18 feet, with exposure to fumes and food allergens such as soy and dairy.

This is a Permanent position based out of Waukesha, WI.

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $85000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
