POSITION: Instructor, Computer Science

JOB DESCRIPTION: The teaching requirements are 12 credits per semester. Background and curricular needs will dictate which courses will be scheduled. In addition, the individual will be expected to perform normal teaching duties at the college level including advising at the undergraduate level; developing, reviewing, and revising curriculum; participating in service to the University and to the department, the discipline, and the local community.

REQUIREMENTS: Master’s in Computer Science or related field of study.

SPECIAL SKILLS: Also requires education or experience in the following:

Instructing undergraduate students in the classic areas of computer science.

Programming, algorithms, architecture, discrete structures, intelligent systems, operating systems, and computational theory.

Specific knowledge in a particular application of computer science such as cybersecurity, software development, or data science.
