Project Manager

We are hiring a Project Manager in Phoenix, AZ to oversee commercial office space tenant improvements for a high-profile client in the e-commerce business. Responsibilities Plan, manage, and coordinate all aspects of the project schedule, scope, and cost. Value engineer the project by identifying opportunities for savings and ensuring material substitutions are equal. Communicate with and manage project stakeholders. Prepare Project Management plan and fee budget/proposal at the project outset. Evaluate documents and communicate the client’s specific goals and expectations to all project team members. Develop and communicate action plans that guide the project team throughout the project. Re‑evaluate the contract scope of work as the project progresses and recommend adjustments as necessary. Coordinate with cost management group for preparation of cost estimates, cost studies, actual job cost reviews, and budget reconciliation. Organize and maintain framework for project team processes and record keeping of electronic and physical documents. Drive the permitting process by designing team documents to be submitted to various agencies and ensure permits move efficiently. Ensure project design management follows the client’s documents such as budget, scope, schedule, and design standards. Prepare cost and revenue projections. Other duties as assigned. Attend work during normal business hours. Qualifications Prior commercial construction project management experience. Experience preparing Project Management Plans and fee/budget proposals. Experience developing and driving action plans. Demonstrated ability to monitor scope throughout the project and recommend adjustments. Ability to prepare and communicate cost and revenue projections. Knowledge of permitting process and ability to drive it to meet timelines. Effective written and oral communication skills. Understanding of how the role contributes to organizational goals. Ability to deliver quality work product and model core values. Dependable, diligent, and thorough. Creativity and resourcefulness in managing projects under compressed timelines. Preferred Education & Experience BS in Construction Management, Engineering, QS, Architecture, or related field. 4+ years of experience in Project Management, engineering, or construction management. Preferred Certifications: CCM, PMP, PE, AIA, LEED. Salary The salary range for this full-time role is $93,000.00–$124,000.02 per year. The range reflects base salary only.
