Logistics & Receiving Orchestrator

Job Description Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a full-time Logistics / Receiving Coordinator to support our operations team by coordinating inbound and outbound freight activity, maintaining accurate shipment and receiving records, and assisting with operational reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in both office and warehouse environments. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with freight vendors to manage inbound and outbound transportation activities.
• Track, trace, and provide timely updates on shipment status.
• Request freight quotes, compare carrier options, and support transportation cost analysis.
• Maintain daily communication with carriers to confirm rates, availability, truck status, and estimated arrival times.
• Collaborate with customer service, logistics, quality, operations, and production teams to support all inbound and outbound activities.
• Verify inventory receipts and support stock integrity through accurate receiving documentation.
• Maintain and track operational data for key performance indicators and internal reporting.
• Support Operations and Production through ad hoc projects and process-improvement initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in logistics, shipping, receiving, transportation coordination, or a related operational role.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining strong communication with internal teams and external partners.
• Experience following detailed procedures in a fast-paced and time-sensitive environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications.
• Experience with SAGE BusinessWorks or similar ERP software is a plus.
• Prior involvement with purchasing or procurement activities is preferred.
• Comfortable working in a combined office and warehouse environment.
