Sauté Cook – Cappuccino's West KnoxvilleCappuccino 's is hiring an experienced Sauté Cook to join our West Knoxville kitchen team!If you thrive in a fast-paced kitchen, take pride in putting out great food, and know your way around a sauté station, we want to hear from you!We're looking for an experienced cook who can bring speed, consistency, organization, and a positive attitude to the line. As a Sauté Cook, you'll play an important role in delivering the quality our guests expect while working alongside a team that knows how to work hard and have fun doing it.What You'll DoSet up and prepare your station for successful servicePrepare and cook menu items accurately and efficientlyAssemble ingredients according to recipes and menu specificationsMaintain proper food temperatures, quality, and portion standardsKeep your station clean, organized, stocked, and sanitaryFollow all food safety and sanitation proceduresUse thermometers, digital scales, and other kitchen equipment properlyCommunicate and work closely with the rest of the kitchen teamLearn new menu items, features, and specials as they are introducedHelp ensure kitchen equipment is being used safely and functioning properlyStay organized and composed during busy service periodsWhat We're Looking ForPrevious sauté experience is requiredKitchen line experience strongly preferredAbility to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environmentStrong understanding of recipes, measurements, and basic conversionsAbility to use a digital scale and thermometerDependable team player with a positive attitude and a sense of humorTakes pride in quality, cleanliness, and consistencyAbility to follow recipes and specifications accuratelyComfortable standing, bending, and walking throughout the workdayAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally more with assistanceWhy Cappuccino's?We believe a great kitchen starts with a great team.
