Director of Treasury

Confidential Opportunity: Director, Treasury & Capital Markets Location: Tampa, FL (Hybrid – 3 days onsite) A Private Equity-backed company is seeking a Director of Treasury & Capital Markets to partner directly with the CFO in building and leading a best-in-class treasury function. This is a newly created position offering significant visibility, strategic influence, and the opportunity to establish scalable processes within a rapidly evolving organization. The Opportunity This executive will serve as the organization's treasury subject matter expert, leading liquidity management, capital structure optimization, banking relationships, and debt administration while helping modernize treasury operations. The role combines strategic finance with hands‑on execution and offers broad exposure to executive leadership and future financing initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead the company's treasury strategy, including cash management, liquidity planning, and capital allocation. Manage daily cash positioning, forecasting, and working capital optimization. Oversee debt facilities, covenant compliance, lender reporting, and financing activities. Build and maintain relationships with banking partners and other financial institutions. Develop treasury policies, controls, and reporting processes to support a growing organization. Evaluate opportunities to improve treasury systems, automation, and cash visibility. Partner closely with Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Legal, and executive leadership on strategic initiatives. Support refinancing activities, capital markets transactions, acquisitions, and other corporate finance projects as needed. Establish scalable treasury infrastructure capable of supporting continued growth. Ideal Background Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. 10+ years of progressive treasury or corporate finance experience. Strong knowledge of cash management, debt financing, banking relationships, and capital markets. Experience working within a private equity‑backed, leveraged, or high‑growth environment is highly preferred. Demonstrated success building or transforming treasury processes and infrastructure. Strong financial modeling, analytical, communication, and executive presentation skills. Experience with treasury management systems and ERP platforms. Why Consider This Opportunity?
