MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Network Engineer to join our team in Chantilly, VA.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Maintaining the network fabric of the ITD IT system architecture.
• Remaining well versed in a multi-vendor environment for layer 2/3 switching and routing, firewalls, SAN directors, as well as virtual and cloud-hosted networking technologies.
• Installing, configuring, and maintaining entire physical networking infrastructure including firewalls and core/distribution/access switches and routers.
• Utilizing network monitoring applications for traffic, access, and performance of entire network.
• Ability to travel domestically.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Seven (7+) years of relevant experience in information technology, leveraging software applications and tools to meet customer requirements.
• Appropriate ND 50-05/DoD 8570.01-M certification.
• Experience in performing maintenance and upgrades of networks including servers, routers, switches, firewalls and networks.
• Demonstrated ability in configuring routers, switches, and firewalls with appropriate network engineering and communications protocols.
• Experience in providing innovating methods and technical solutions to ensure network performance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or other IT-related discipline; Three additional years of experience with an Associate's degree.

Clearance Requirements:

• Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/Polygraph.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
• Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
• Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
