Inventory Supervisor

Indianapolis, IN | Temp-to- Hire |$65,000/year

Full-Time | Extended hours may be required during peak season

About the Role

BESTAFF is hiring an experienced Inventory Supervisor to lead inventory control for a growing distribution partner in Indianapolis, IN. You'll lead a team of inventory control specialists, keep cycle counts and audits on track, and protect inventory accuracy across inbound and outbound logistics. You'll report directly to the GM.

What You'll Do

Lead a small team of inventory control specialists
Run consolidation, replenishment, and velocity reports and delegate tasks accordingly
Ensure daily cycle counting tasks are completed in a timely manner
Maintain inventory placement integrity, minimizing disruptions to inbound and outbound logistics
Lead workflow improvements, identifying and resolving inconsistencies in product slotting
Implement slotting strategies to improve picking accuracy and efficiency
Oversee inventory audits
Operate any forklift equipment and jump in on the floor as needed
Motivate and encourage the team, keeping morale and performance high

What You Bring

Experience with OMS (Order Management Systems) and WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)
Understands RF scanners and related functions
Able to meet deadlines individually and as part of a team
Team player who works well independently and as part of a team
Data-driven with an understanding of Lean Six Sigma methodologies
Strong sense of urgency
Kitting experience a plus
Able to work extended hours during peak season
Bilingual a plus, not required
