The Mammography Technologist: Monday–Friday 8am–4:30pm (and one weekend every other month) Pay Range: $30.56–$48.90 (Actual offer rates are based upon the applicant’s relevant job experience and the requirements of the position) Performs ordered examinations by accepted standards of practice and protocols of the individual site reading physicians. Works with the radiologist as a team to consider many factors critical to breast imaging. Assists with other breast procedures. Reports, records, and files patient and procedural data to accurately document department operations and facilitate timely, accurate billing for services. Monitors and maintains an adequate inventory of supplies and materials to ensure their continued availability and non‑interruption of services. Responds to emergent and urgent patient and operational issues. Participates in breast cancer education and screening activities for the community. Maintains cleanliness of examination rooms. Qualified candidates will possess: Associate’s degree in Radiologic Science or related field. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in mammography. Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT (R) (M)). Bone Densitometry and Stereotactic Breast Biopsy experience preferred.
