Key Responsibilities Comply with company, state, and federal guidelines, particularly as they relate to OSHA and DOT requirements for the safety of all personnel. Perform pre-trip inspections of equipment, paperwork, and loaded product to ensure order accuracy. Safely unload product and deliver materials to the assigned area as directed by the customer. Secure mud, equipment, metal, pallets, and other materials on the truck. Navigate routes to jobsites. Assist with maintaining trucks and equipment in a safe and clean condition. Help prepare trucks and materials for the following day's deliveries. Perform additional duties as assigned. Direct Manager/Direct Reports Reports to the department manager. No direct reports. Travel Requirements Frequent local travel to customer jobsites as part of daily delivery operations. Physical Requirements Must be able to remain standing 90% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. Constantly move while unloading materials from commercial motor vehicles onto jobsites, with or without reasonable accommodation. Constantly position oneself to load and unload materials from flatbed or boom trucks, with or without reasonable accommodation. Frequently move materials weighing up to 100 lbs. while unloading and loading flatbed trucks, with or without reasonable accommodation. Preferred Qualifications Experience in construction, building materials, delivery, warehouse, or a related industry. Familiarity with material handling and jobsite safety practices.
