We are a growing wholesale food distributor and logistics company based in Chico, Ca that offers its employees free health, dental, and vision plans, a 401k retirement and profit-sharing plan, competitive salaries and local routes that get you home every night. Experience preferred, but NOT REQUIRED.

Our Mission: S&L will be the best Wholesale and Logistics provider in our marketplace. By providing our customers the best value for their dollar and utilizing the strengths of our committed employees, S&L will deliver a level of service unsurpassed in our industry.
The Position: We are looking for a Class A CDL driver. Our driver pay range is $60,000-90,000/year with a 4-10hr work schedule, including overtime.

- Fleet of 22 late model tractor-trailers
Requirements:
- Valid Class A commercial driver license with a clean driving record
- 21+ years of age
- Posses and be able to present a valid non-expired interstate Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC)
- Able to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and safety regulations
Responsibilities:
- Operate vehicle in a variety of traffic and weather conditions
- Meet or exceed minimum productivity levels established by Director of Logistics
- Demonstrate strong customer relations and problem resolution skills
- Develop a good working knowledge of product and inventory
- Maintain ongoing inter-department communications related to routing, safety and customer relations.
