Position will meet daily delivery schedules, document DOT log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel receipts. Comply with DOT truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations) as well as with company policies and procedures. Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions at warehouse and plant locations. Report product defects, accidents and/or violations immediately to the supervisor. Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations required. No recent moving or driving violations. Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, equipment issues, etc.)

Drivers will be required to work safely in the bulk seed warehouse when not operating semi-trucks (this is not a 100% driving position). Other tasks assigned by site management.

Quals--

Additional medical exams required along with a DOT drug screening (see below).

The position is accountable for transporting raw materials via a company owned semi-truck, supporting the seed production manufacturing plants daily processes. Key emphasis will be placed on inspection of vehicles for mechanical defects per DOT, safety issues and perform minor preventative maintenance.

EDUCATION:
Minimum of HS Diploma or GED

EXPERIENCE:
Ability to pass background check, drug test, DOT physical and provide 2 employment references.
Must have a current, valid Class A CDL license.
Work well with internal and external.
Forklift and Heavy Equipment skills are a plus.

ADDITIONAL REQUIRED MEDICAL EXAMS:
Hearing Conservation (Hearing)
Mobile Equipment Operator (Vision)
Respirator (not SCBA)
Other: (Cotton Dust Test)
Fit Test (needs to be conducted with CHR during the time these other exams are completed - it will NOT be conducted onsite like at Erskine Plant)
DOT Physical for medical card
