Required Skills

• Valid California medical license and Board Certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology or Family Medicine with Obstetric fellowship
• Proven experience in obstetric hospitalist duties, including labor management, deliveries, and postpartum care
• Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and compassion

Nice to Have Skills

• Prior experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Bilingual capabilities, particularly Spanish-speaking, to serve diverse patient populations
• Additional training in neonatal resuscitation (NRP) or advanced fetal monitoring

Preferred Education and Experience

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• At least 2-3 years of obstetric hospitalist experience in a hospital setting
• Prior locum or temporary physician experience is advantageous but not mandatory

Other Requirements

• Commitment to adhering to all state, federal, and local regulations and protocols
• Ability to travel to Lancaster, CA, with reimbursement for licensure, certification, travel, and other expenses where applicable
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed
