Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst - Denver Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst Location: Denver, CO Salary: $88,000 – $110,000 Our client is a well-established law firm. They are seeking a Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst to support firmwide financial reporting, analysis, and strategic initiatives. What you'll be doing Design and prepare detailed financial reports and analyses using accounting systems, reporting tools, and advanced Excel Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting including management reporting, financial statement analysis, and ad‑hoc projects Assist with partner and associate compensation analysis and reporting Support high‑visibility external surveys across firm departments Collaborate with FP&A leadership and serve as a key resource to junior analysts Own and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery Develop expertise in the firm’s financial systems and overall financial operations Utilize tools such as Excel, Power Query, SQL, and Tableau to extract and analyze data Deliver ad‑hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed What you’ll need Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 7+ years of progressive FP&A or financial analysis experience Strong knowledge of accounting systems and financial reporting Advanced Excel skills including Power Query, pivot tables, and complex formulas Experience with SQL and business intelligence tools (Tableau or similar) Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills Ability to present complex financial information clearly across all levels Excellent organization and project management skills Experience in a law firm or professional services environment preferred CPA is a plus What’s in it for you Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision coverage options.
